Originally created for the export market and highly coveted by connoisseurs worldwide, this rare expression offers a whiskey experience that is as close as you can get to tasting directly from the barrel inside the legendary Warehouse H. Uncut, Unfiltered, Unapologetic Unlike the Original Single Barrel or Gold Edition, Straight From The Barrel (SFTB) is bottled uncut and unfiltered . The result is a colossal flavor profile that varies slightly from barrel to barrel, typically landing between 120 and 130+ proof . This is Blanton's with the volume turned all the way up—rich, viscous, and incredibly complex. Tasting Notes Nose: A powerful bouquet of dark chocolate, burnt caramel, and heavy butter, grounded by earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut. As it opens, notes of dried raisins and stone fruits emerge. Palate: The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, coating the palate with intense notes of warm vanilla, toasted oak, and roasted nuts. Layers of rich spiciness, butterscotch, and honey unfold with every sip. Finish: Legendary. The finish is deep, long, and warming, leaving a lasting impression of sweet oak and Kentucky spice.
